My name is Jess. I am, amongst other things, a singer-songwriter. I spent my childhood and student years between Belgium, Britain and France. I now I live in Vienna, Austria with my partner and my dog.
My main influences are from the folk, rock and indie genres, but I also love all kinds of African music, Soul, Electro, Swing.
I try to write comforting songs born from introspection. I try to fight for social justice and challenge the status quo (in my day job), and hopefully that can be felt in my lyrics too.
My first EP called “A stranger like me” will be released in June 2024.
